The later versions of MSIE program is often set to automatically resize large photos to fit on the screen.  To view large photos in real size, point the mouse at the lower righthand corner of the photo.
Then you will see a small box with arrows. Click this box to expand the photo to natural size.
You can click the box again if you want to reduce the photo to "screen size" again.
